CFO Sec. Nicolas co-chairs International Metropolis Asian Secretariat

Secretary Imelda Nicolas, Chairperson of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) signs the Memorandum of Understanding establishing the Metropolis Asian Secretariat on March 21, 2012 in Mexico. At the recent summit of the Metropolis International Steering Committee in Mexico, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a Metropolis Secretariat for Asia was signed on 21 March 2012, delegating the Philippines as one of the lead organizers/convenors together with Korea and designating Commission on Overseas (CFO) Secretary Imelda Nicolas as one of the Co-Chairpersons. Aside from CFO, representing the Philippines was the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Philippines.
