






| Invitation to Attend Forum on US Immigration |

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas, in partnership with the Center for Migrant Advocacy (CMA) and YMCA Philippines, is pleased to invite Filipino emigrants bound for the United States to attend a forum entitled, US Immigration: Issues and Concerns. The forum will be held at the Indah Hotel in Manila on 31 January 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participation is free of charge.
Due to the limited number of seats, however, only those with visa applications that have already been lodged at the US Embassy will be given priority. Pre-registration is also requested. For this purpose, please send an e-mail to the following expressing your intent to join the forum: Commission on Filipinos Overseas Center for Migrant Advocacy Philippines The forum's resource speaker is Atty. Adolfo Nabor, a California-licensed immigration lawyer and active member of the American Immigration Lawyers' Association (AILA). Atty. Nabor graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Far Eastern University. He took up his Masters in Political Science from the University of the Philippines and completed law at the Arellano University Law School. Atty. Nabor immigrated to the United States in 1990 and has helped Filipinos with their legal problems involving immigration and family since he joined the Asian Pacific American Legal Center in 1993. He passed the California Bar Examinations in 1997. |
