Call for Help for Flood Victims
The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is now accepting donations/assistance for families affected by the floods brought about by the monsoon rains in the Philippines.
The country was battered by torrential rains, which resulted to Luzon being submerged in deep waters. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), an estimate 1.2 million individuals are affected. Hardest hit are cities and municipalities in the National Capital Region, Central Luzon and Southern Tagalog.
We are now seeking to conduct relief efforts to badly hit areas. Donations may be sent through bank deposit/transfer to the following account of the CFO:
Bank: Development Bank of the Philippines
Branch: Makati City
Account number: 0405-0275396-080
Donations may also be done via Visa credit card. Please log on to www.cfo-linkapil.org.ph, and click DONATE NOW.
